Expert Professionals Committed to Innovation and Transparency
After graduating from the university of Manchester in England, Masaya worked for Bosch Corporation in Japan and Germany on projects related to automated driving. As the Japanese technical director of the world’s first Level 4 automated driving system, “Automated Valet Parking System”, he was involved in the introduction of the system to the Japanese market and the development of unmanned trucks for logistics. Masaya had been the president of Deep4Drive, the largest voluntary mobility development organization in Japan, and founded LexxPluss in March 2020.
Kenichi, VP of Engineering at LexxPluss, led development at Sony for AIBO and PlayStation®. He also worked with Rakuten and two startups. His expertise spans software development and business expansion. At Sony, he played a key role in product development from hardware to cloud services. At LexxPluss, Kenichi’s strategic vision and leadership serve as catalysts for engineering excellence.
Since becoming a working professional, Tomoyuki has been involved in investments, acquisitions, and business partnerships at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation for just over 10 years. Before joining LexxPluss, he was involved in corporate planning at Every (operating platforms such as the cooking recipe video site DELISH KITCHEN). At LexxPluss, Tomoyuki is responsible for finance.
Hisatsugu Yamawaki
QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER
Hisatsugu is a seasoned quality assurance manager, with nearly two decades of expertise in quality-related roles. Beginning his career as a semiconductor process engineer at NEC, Hisatsugu transitioned to quality control and assurance, accumulating valuable experience along the way. At Toyota, he oversaw QCQA for hybrid vehicle inverters for over a decade before expanding his horizons to quality assurance roles at automotive parts manufacturers in China and France. Subsequently, he served as a quality manager at two startups, where he handled business development and satellite quality assurance.
Ed Sun
HEAD OF JAPAN SALES
Ed began his career at Shosha (Marubeni), where he spent a decade working in various capacities, including overseas branches and the head office. While at Marubeni, Ed honed his skills in sales, particularly in the chemical sector, culminating in his final year focusing on planning and back-office operations. Driven by his passion for sales, Ed continued his journey by joining Westlake Chemicals and Rogers Corporation, where he held diverse sales positions. He adds to LexxPluss a deep understanding of the chemical industry and a proactive approach to addressing industry challenges, such as the shortage of manpower.
Toshiji Hayase
ACCOUNTING MANAGER
With a background primarily in accounting, Toshiji previously served as an accounting manager for a company specializing in developing digital therapeutics products. In this role, he navigated the complexities of preparing accounting systems in accordance with IPO regulations and underwent audits by leading audit corporations. Seeking to leverage his skills in establishing accounting systems from the ground up, Toshiji transitioned to Lexxpluss.
Yasuyuki Miura
CHIEF SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Yasuyuki serves as the Chief Software Engineer at LexxPluss, contributing with over a decade of expertise in in-vehicle software development to the team. His journey began in the automotive industry, where he played a pivotal role in developing software for mass-production vehicles. During his tenure, Yasuyuki actively engaged in projects aimed at automating electric vehicles and contributed to the open-source Autoware.auto platform, further solidifying his reputation as a skilled software engineer.
Takayuki Kitada
HR MANAGER
Takayuki’s most recent professional experience includes being a founding member of HelloFresh Japan, where he managed all aspects of People operations, overseeing the design and development of meal kit recipes for delivery to customers’ doorsteps. Takayuki also played a key role in talent acquisition at Delivery Hero Japan and Foodpanda, both global food tech companies. Additionally, his experience extends to the gaming industry, where he was instrumental in managing People operations and startup projects for Riot Games Japan.
