General-Type” Subsidy for Labor-Saving Investment Now Available for the Autonomous Mobile Robot “Lexx500

Kawasaki, Japan – LexxPluss Inc. (hereinafter “LexxPluss”) announces that its autonomous mobile robot (AMR) “Lexx500” is now eligible for the “General-Type” Labor-Saving Investment Subsidy for SMEs, which was launched in January 2025 by the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan.
Compared to the conventional “Catalog-Type” subsidy, this new option offers more flexible eligibility requirements. If you are interested in implementing “Lexx500,” we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
Key Differences from the “Catalog-Type” Subsidy
More Flexible Eligibility for Subsidy
Under the “Catalog-Type” subsidy, applicants were required to select from a predefined list of government-approved catalog products. In contrast, the “General-Type” subsidy allows businesses to customize equipment and system installations according to their specific operational needs and facility environments.
Subsidy Rate
For the “Catalog-Type” subsidy, the standard subsidy rate was 1/2 of the cost. Under the “General-Type” subsidy, SMEs can receive coverage for 1/2 of the cost. Small-scale and revitalization businesses are eligible for 2/3 of the cost to be covered. However, for amounts exceeding ¥15 million, the subsidy rate is 1/3, while for amounts up to ¥15 million, the rate remains 1/2.
