The prestigious event was jointly organized by the Japan Association of Corporate Executives (Keizai Doyukai) and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA).
The Japan-Korea Economic Round Table serves as an official consultative body aimed at strengthening economic cooperation and networking between the business communities of both nations.
This year’s round table was held under the theme of “Strengthening Japan-Korea Industrial Cooperation in the Age of AI (Artificial Intelligence),” bringing together leading executives and economic figures from the forefront of various industries. Representing the Japanese delegation were key figures from organizations across finance, manufacturing, telecommunications, healthcare, and IT. Masaya Aso, CEO of LexxPluss, was invited to participate as a representative of Japanese startups. From the South Korean side, prominent executives and business leaders specializing in AI, robotics, and trade promotion attended the event.
