KAWASAKI, Japan — LexxPluss, Inc. (CEO: Masaya Aso), a pioneer in autonomous industrial infrastructure, announced today that it has secured a strategic investment from Kyocera Venture Innovation Fund I (KVIF-I), the corporate venture capital fund of Kyocera Corporation. Through this partnership, LexxPluss will provide its advanced AI software to the Kyocera Group to drive the large-scale deployment of robotics solutions in the manufacturing sector.

LexxPluss specializes in “Physical AI”—technology that optimizes the physical behavior of robots in real-world environments. By integrating LexxPluss’s AI software into Kyocera’s robotics solutions, the two companies aim to create highly scalable and user-friendly automation systems for a wide range of manufacturing sites.
Masaya Aso, CEO of LexxPluss, currently serves as a member of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) “AI Robotics Committee”. By combining this industry-leading expertise with Kyocera’s extensive solution network, the partnership will accelerate the digital transformation (DX) of manufacturing for a diverse global clientele.
Kyocera Venture Innovation Fund I (KVIF-I) was established in April 2024 by Kyocera Corporation and Global Brain Corporation to foster continuous new business creation. The fund invests in early-stage startups across various sectors, including AI, robotics, mobility, and material technology.
