Accelerating the development of industrial humanoids to transform AI robots into a “self-propagating workforce,” establishing Japan as the world’s first model for decoupling economic growth from population decline.

Japan, March 10, 2026 — LexxPluss, Inc. (CEO: Masaya Aso), a pioneer in next-generation industrial infrastructure, is pleased to announce that CEO Masaya Aso—who serves as a member of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) “AI Robotics Study Group”—has officially submitted a policy proposal titled: “Physical AI as a 100-Year Infrastructure: A Vision for 2050 to Redesign Industrial Foundations through a Self-Propagating Workforce.”
The proposal advocates for national investment in a “self-propagating workforce”—where robots are capable of producing other robots—to achieve “decoupling,” maintaining economic growth despite a shrinking population.

The proposal redefines robots not merely as “convenient machines,” but as the “only entities capable of autonomously reproducing and expanding labor capacity.” Masaya has outlined a “Three Arrows” five-year execution plan alongside a long-term national strategy: Vision for 2050.
Strategic Goal: Physically prevent industrial collapse caused by the “critical labor shortage” of 2030 and initiate the self-propagation cycle.
1. Demand: Emergency infrastructure deployment via Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV).
2. Supply: Construction and launch of “Mother Factories.”
3. Trust: Design and application of a “Trusted AI” certification system.
The Goal: A nation where vast arrays of AI robots integrated into society function as a self-propagating labor infrastructure—handling production, logistics, maintenance, and disaster response rather than acting as simple labor-saving tools.

“Population decline is an inevitable future, but economic decay is not. We are proposing a challenge to integrate the new mechanism of ‘self-propagating labor’ via AI robots into our social operating system. The industry-specific humanoids and Physical AI technologies LexxPluss is developing will be the key devices to realize this national strategy. We aim to work with both the public and private sectors to create a turning point where Japan presents a new model for a ‘Post-Demographic Civilization’ that does not rely on a population bonus.”
In alignment with this proposal, LexxPluss is accelerating the development of industry-specific humanoids. These humanoids serve as the core technology for the “Mother Factories” and “self-propagating production” models detailed in the proposal.

Driven by the mission to provide “New Power for Industry,” LexxPluss is a Physical AI startup combining AI and robotics to automate “holding, transporting, and working.” Our product lineup includes LexxMoMa (a multi-tasking robot), Lexx500 (autonomous mobile robot), and LexxFleet (integrated robot control system).
